September 2023 Drive

For our monthly drive campaign we have teamed up with a long time client & friend Natalie Campos.

Natalie lost a family member after a long time battle against Childhood Cancer. As a way to not only raise awareness but honor the memory of her family member she hosts a fundraiser for every year during the month of September, which happens to be Childhood Cancer Awareness month.

“In 2015 I started raising funds for the hospital (The Valerie Fund at Goryeb Children’s  Hospital in Morristown, NJ). I have personally seen the impact that can occur when a child and parents receive such diagnosis and this is my way of giving back to the children and parents.  I saw how much joy it brought receiving the gift cards. In those few moments her face lit up and the joy radiated through her. I knew this was the way I could give back to the children and parents.

 With almost 10 years of raising funds for the gift cards. This year I want to be able to increase the amount. I have decided that I want to raise $5000.00. With this amount not only will I be able to help the children I can also help their parents.  The gift cards purchased range anywhere from a variety of retailers along with food and gas.  I am also able to purchase visa gift cards for tolls and any parking lot fees,” Natalie.

We at JDC Designs have chosen this initiative to be the beneficiary of our “Childhood Cancer Awareness” Drive. 100% of proceeds from the the “Childhood Cancer Awareness” Collection from September 1, 2023 through September will be sent to Natalie to contribute towards the gift card initiative benefiting the patients and parents at The Valerie Fund at Goryeb Children’s  Hospital.
